Hi.

Just an idea...has anyone ever looked at unity 3D?

It's a gamedevelopment tool and looks very promising...might this be a base for VR2? :P

Viper Racing 2 would be a nice thing but i think:

No access to the Viperracing Sourcecode -> No Viperracing 2!

Unity 3D could be a good thing but if we realy would create a racing game with unity it would be a racing game and not viperracing 2... And if we look to the worldwideweb we would see enough other racinggames which are created by "users".
For example:

http://vdrift.net/ (Nice graphics, physics = crap)
http://torcs.sourceforge.net/ (Graphics = , physics = )

Uhm...to my knowledge the whole physics code can be altered/rewritten in Unity...

(not sure tho if it could handle a high-res track with high-res cars etc)
